Terms & conditions

These terms govern every booking made through siamintravel.com. Please read them before you pay — paying confirms you accept them on behalf of everybody named on the booking.

They sit alongside our cancellation and refund policy, our shipping policy and our privacy policy. Where a package page states something different from this page — a longer cancellation window, an extra inclusion — the package page wins for that booking.

1. Who you are contracting with

Two companies are involved, and which one you are dealing with depends on what you are asking about.

Travel services are designed, contracted and operated by Siam In Travel Co., Ltd., 2/33 Moo 4, Bang Mae Nang, Bang Yai, Nonthaburi 11140, Thailand, Tax ID 0125561014896. Siam In Travel holds the relationships with the hotels, transport companies and excursion operators who deliver your trip.

Payments in Indian rupees are collected by Thumb360 Digital and Consulting Services, registered office M-109, Pyramid Mahika Apartment, Shivanahalli, Yelahanka, Bengaluru 560064, Karnataka, India, GSTIN 29AAICT2431M1ZZ, acting as our Indian representative and merchant of record. Thumb360 is the party that charges your card, issues your tax invoice, and returns any refund. Thumb360 Digital and Consulting Services is the name that will appear on your card or bank statement — not Siam In Travel.

Throughout this page, “we”, “us” and “our” mean both companies acting together on your booking.

2. What you are buying

A package is a defined set of ground services in Thailand: hotel nights on a stated meal plan, transfers, and named excursions or entry tickets. It is a travel service, not a physical product, and nothing is shipped. What arrives and when is set out in the shipping policy.

Unless a package page says otherwise, flights are not included. Neither is travel insurance, visa cost where one applies, or anything listed under “What it does not” on the package page.

Every package page carries a “What the fare covers” list and a “What it does not” list. Those two lists are the contract for that package. If something is not on the first list, it is not included, even if it seems like it ought to be.

3. Prices, taxes and currency

Prices are quoted in Indian rupees, per person, on twin-sharing occupancy, and are shown before GST and TCS.

  • Party size changes the fare. Packages are priced in bands — two, four, six, eight and ten travellers — and the rate per person falls as the party grows. The headline “from” price is the cheapest band, and the page marks it with an asterisk saying which party size earns it. The booking form applies the band your actual party falls into.
  • Two travellers is the minimum on every package unless the page says otherwise.
  • GST at 5% is charged on the package value and shown as a separate line. Travellers in Karnataka are charged CGST 2.5% plus SGST 2.5%; travellers elsewhere in India are charged IGST 5%. The split follows the GSTIN above and cannot be chosen.
  • TCS at 5% is collected under Section 206C(1G) of the Income-tax Act on overseas tour packages and shown as a separate line. It is not our revenue — it is remitted to the Government of India against your PAN and is creditable against your own tax liability. This is why we ask for the lead traveller’s PAN at checkout, and why an incorrect PAN is slow to unwind.
  • Rates are fixed at publication, not at the live exchange rate. A published fare holds for the validity window shown on the package page. We do not reprice a confirmed booking because the baht moved.

Prices can change before you book — if a supplier reprices, if a package’s validity window closes, or if a rate was published in error. Where a price is obviously wrong, we will tell you before taking payment and will not hold you to it; where you have already paid, we will offer the correct price or a full refund.

4. Making a booking

  1. You choose a package, accommodation grade, travel date and party on the booking form, and pay.
  2. We acknowledge the payment immediately and begin confirming the ground services with our operators in Thailand.
  3. We confirm the booking in writing, normally within two business days.
  4. Your vouchers and itinerary follow, at least seven days before departure.

A booking is not confirmed until we confirm it in writing. Payment starts the process; it does not by itself create a confirmed reservation. Availability is live and finite, and occasionally a hotel or a boat is gone by the time we go to book it.

If we cannot confirm what you paid for, we will offer the nearest equivalent at the same price, or an alternative you may accept or decline, or a full refund with no deduction. That is your choice, not ours.

Departures must be at least seven days ahead. We do not sell a departure we cannot document and confirm in time.

Payment

Bookings are payable in full at the time of booking. We do not take a deposit and there is no balance to pay later — the amount shown at checkout, including GST and TCS, is the whole amount and it is due then.

We accept the cards, net banking, UPI and wallets offered by our payment gateway at checkout. Payment is collected in Indian rupees by Thumb360 Digital and Consulting Services. Any charge your own bank makes for a card transaction is between you and them.

You must be 18 or over to make a booking. Whoever books is responsible for the accuracy of every detail given for every traveller, and for passing our communications on to the rest of the party.

5. Children and occupancy

A child is aged between 2 and 11 on the date of travel. Children pay 85% of the adult fare when sharing a room on an extra bed, and 70% when sharing existing bedding. Children count towards the party-size band.

Infants under 2 are generally free of package charge but may attract charges levied directly by hotels, boats or attractions. Several excursions apply their own rules by height rather than age — the Sanctuary of Truth and Nong Nooch both do — and those are measured at the gate. We will tell you the rule that applies before you book.

Room occupancy is set by the hotel, not by us. A room booked as a twin may not accommodate a third adult, and a triple is often a twin with a rollaway bed rather than three full beds.

6. Changing a booking

Ask in writing at admin@siamintravel.com quoting your booking reference. We will always try, but a change depends on what the hotels and operators will allow, and some fares are not amendable at all.

  • Re-issuing documents is free. Whatever the supplier charges for the change is passed on at cost, and we will tell you the figure before we commit to anything.
  • Name corrections should be raised the moment you spot them. Vouchers must match the passport you travel on. A misspelling caught early is usually free; caught late it can mean rebooking at the current rate.
  • A change that reduces the party size may move you into a more expensive pricing band, because the fare per person depends on how many of you travel. The remaining travellers pay the band that now applies.
  • A material change requested close to departure may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and the cancellation charges below would then apply.

7. If you cancel

Cancellation charges run on a sliding scale against the total package value, from 10% more than 45 days out to 100% inside 14 days. The full scale, how to cancel, how refunds are returned and what happens to GST and TCS are set out in the cancellation and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Cancellation must be in writing. The date we receive your written request is the date that counts.

8. If we change or cancel

Occasionally we have to change something. A hotel overbooks, an operator withdraws a departure, a boat cannot sail.

  • A minor change — a hotel of the same grade in the same area, a reordered itinerary, a different departure time — we will tell you about and proceed with.
  • A significant change — a lower accommodation grade, a different destination, the loss of a named excursion — gives you the choice of accepting it, taking an alternative we offer, or cancelling that component for a refund of what you paid for it.
  • If we cancel the whole trip for any reason other than your non-payment or a force majeure event, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid us.

Where a single excursion cannot run, we will offer an alternative date where the itinerary allows it, or refund that component. We do not refund a whole package because one day of it moved.

9. Events outside anyone’s control

Neither of us is liable for failing to perform where the cause is genuinely beyond reasonable control. That includes war, civil unrest, terrorism, epidemic and public health measures, natural disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather and sea conditions, industrial action, airport or airspace closure, and the acts of governments, harbour authorities and national park authorities.

Where such an event stops a service running, we will pass on whatever we can actually recover from the supplier. We cannot refund money a hotel or an operator has kept, and we will not pretend otherwise. This is precisely the exposure travel insurance is designed to cover, which is why we recommend it as firmly as we do.

10. Passports, visas and entry

Holding a valid passport and meeting Thailand’s entry requirements is the traveller’s responsibility. Most airlines and immigration authorities require at least six months’ validity from the date of entry.

Indian passport holders travel to Thailand under a 30-day visa exemption for tourism, with no visa fee. India was placed in this category by the Thai Cabinet on 16 July 2026; the measure commences 15 days after the Ministry of Interior announcements are published in Thailand’s Royal Gazette. Because entry is decided on the day you arrive, we confirm in writing the rule that applies to your travel dates before you fly.

Every traveller must file the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours of arrival. It is free, it is checked at the boarding gate, and we cannot file it on your behalf.

Entry is granted by an immigration officer on the day, and no agent can guarantee it. If you are refused entry, or you are refused boarding for want of a document, the booking is treated as a no-show and no refund is due. Immigration may ask for proof of onward travel and of funds.

11. Health, fitness and accessibility

Tell us at the time of booking about anything that affects what you can join — mobility, a medical condition, a pregnancy, an allergy, a dietary requirement. We would far rather redesign a day than watch somebody miss it at the pier.

Speedboat excursions are not suitable, on the operators’ own rules, for pregnant travellers, infants under one year, travellers over seventy, or anyone with a spinal, neck or serious heart condition. Several sites involve significant walking, steps or heat; Tiger Cave Temple is 1,260 steps to the summit.

Dietary requests — vegetarian, Jain, halal, allergies — are passed to every supplier and confirmed wherever we can, but a buffet in a third-party restaurant is not a kitchen we control. If an allergy is severe, tell us so we can say honestly whether a given day is safe.

We may decline a booking, or decline to carry a traveller on a particular excursion, where we reasonably believe it is unsafe for them or for others.

12. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment and repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, baggage and personal liability, and any adventure activity you intend to take part in. We do not sell insurance and receive nothing from anyone who does.

Most of what this page cannot refund — a cancellation for illness, a flight that failed to connect, an excursion lost to weather — is exactly what a policy is for.

13. Hotels and star grades

Star grades follow local Thai convention and are not comparable to Indian or European grading. Where a package names a hotel, that is the hotel we book. Where it names a grade, we book a property of that grade in the stated area.

If a named hotel becomes unavailable, we substitute a property of the same or higher grade in the same area and tell you before you travel.

Standard check-in in Thailand is 14:00 and check-out 12:00. An early arrival or a late departure is at the hotel’s discretion and usually costs extra. Room type, bedding, view and floor are requests, not guarantees, unless the package page states them as booked.

14. Transfers

Package pages state whether each transfer is private or shared, and the difference matters.

  • Private transfers are point to point. The driver goes directly to the destination and does not make stops on the way. Vehicle capacity is by luggage as well as by seat — a sedan takes 2 passengers and 2 bags, an SUV 4 and 4, a ten-seat van 10 and 9.
  • Airport waiting is complimentary for two hours on an international arrival and one hour on a domestic one, measured from landing. Beyond that the operator charges 300–400 baht an hour, payable locally.
  • Shared transfers run to a fixed pick-up window and will not wait. Be in the hotel lobby fifteen minutes before your slot. A missed shared pick-up is a no-show for that excursion and is not refundable.
  • Zone surcharges. Shared pick-ups cover the standard hotel zones only. A hotel outside them — Krabi Town, Klong Muang and Tub Kaek in Krabi; Jomtien beyond Soi 12, Na Jomtien and the Sukhumvit corridor in Pattaya; Rawai, Kamala, Maikhao, Bang Tao and Cape Panwa in Phuket — may attract a surcharge payable locally. Where every hotel in a package sits inside the zone, the package page says so.
  • Give us the flight number and timing for every arrival and departure. A transfer arranged against the wrong flight is not a transfer we can be held to.

15. Excursions, boats and the weather

Boat days run to the sea, not to a timetable. An operator or the harbour authority may move or cancel a sailing on safety grounds, and neither we nor you get a vote. Where a sailing is cancelled we will offer an alternative date where the itinerary allows it, or refund that component.

Some natural features are tidal. The sandbar between Tup and Mor islands appears at low water and not otherwise; the boat visits the islands regardless. Maya Bay is closed to swimming by environmental law and closes altogether for rehabilitation in some months.

Optional activities you buy on the ground — jet skis, parasailing, diving, elephant rides where a park offers them — are a contract between you and that operator. They are not part of your package, we earn nothing from them, and they are not covered by our insurance or the tour operator’s.

16. Costs payable locally

Some charges are collected on the day by the park, the venue or the operator, in cash, and no agent can prepay them. Where a package excludes them, the page says so and states the amount. Expect, for example:

  • Hat Noppharat Thara – Mu Ko Phi Phi national park fee: 200 baht an adult and 100 a child from Krabi; 400 and 200 from Phuket
  • Emerald Pool 400 / 200 baht and the hot springs 160 / 80 baht, on the Krabi jungle day
  • Ton Sai pier fee on Phi Phi, about 20 baht a head
  • The internal tram at Nong Nooch, 100–150 baht
  • Freshwater showers on Koh Larn, about 50 baht
  • Tips for performers if you photograph them after the Alcazar show, 40–100 baht a photograph

Carry Thai baht in cash for these. Card is often not accepted at a park gate.

17. Conduct

Thailand is a monarchy with laws on lese-majeste that are enforced, and many of the sites on our itineraries are working religious places. Shoulders and knees covered at temples; shoes off where you are asked; no photography where it is prohibited.

We, or any supplier, may refuse to carry or accommodate a traveller whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, or seriously disruptive to others. Where that happens the arrangements for that traveller end immediately, no refund is due, and any cost of getting them home is theirs. Damage caused to a hotel, vehicle or vessel is payable by the traveller directly to the supplier.

18. Our responsibility, and its limits

We are responsible for putting together the arrangements described on your confirmation with reasonable skill and care, and for choosing suppliers with reasonable care.

The hotels, transport companies and excursion operators are independent contractors, not our employees. Their own terms and their own liability regimes apply to the services they perform, including any international convention that limits a carrier’s liability.

We are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, that arises from your own act or omission, from a third party unconnected with the arrangements, or from an event under clause 9. We are not liable for anything you buy independently on the ground.

Where we are liable, our maximum aggregate liability for any booking is twice the total amount you paid for that booking, taken across every claim arising from it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The cap above does not apply to any of those.

19. If something goes wrong

Tell somebody at the time. A room problem a hotel could have fixed in ten minutes is very hard to remedy a fortnight later, and a complaint raised only on return will be assessed on that basis.

  1. Raise it with the supplier on the spot — the hotel desk, the guide, the driver.
  2. If it is not resolved, WhatsApp us on +91 98402 39547 while you are still travelling. That number is monitored outside office hours for travellers in destination.
  3. If it remains unresolved, write to admin@siamintravel.com within 28 days of returning, with your booking reference and anything that supports it.

We acknowledge a written complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

20. Your data

To deliver a booking we pass traveller names, passport details where required, contact details and any requirement you disclose to hotels, transport companies and excursion operators in Thailand — which means personal data is transferred outside India. Booking with us is your consent to that specific transfer, without which the trip cannot be delivered. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is in the privacy policy.

21. This website

We take care to keep package details, prices and availability accurate, and we do not warrant that everything on the site is free of error at every moment. Photographs are illustrative — a hotel image shows the property, not necessarily your room, and destination photography is not a promise about weather, tide or crowds.

The content, photography, itineraries and design on this site belong to Siam In Travel or are used with permission, and may not be reproduced commercially without written consent. Photographs used under a Creative Commons licence are credited on the page where they appear.

Where we link to a third-party site we do so for convenience and take no responsibility for its content or its privacy practices.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update this page. The version in force for your booking is the one published on the day you paid, and we will not apply a later change retrospectively to a confirmed booking. Ask us for the version that applies to yours and we will send it.

23. Governing law

Two companies deliver this booking, so two bodies of law apply and it is worth being exact about which governs what.

  • Anything to do with payment — the sale to you, the invoice, GST and TCS, refunds, chargebacks and these terms as a whole — is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • Anything to do with the services themselves — the hotels, transfers, excursions and everything performed on the ground in Thailand — is governed by Thai law, and Siam In Travel Co., Ltd. is the liable party for them.

Thumb360 Digital and Consulting Services acts as our representative in India and handles payment. It is not the operator of the travel services and does not carry operational liability for them.

Nothing here removes a right you hold as a consumer under Indian law, including your right to approach a consumer forum where you live.

24. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, your confirmation, the package page you booked from and the policies linked at the top are the whole agreement between us.

These terms are written in English, and English governs their interpretation.
